10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThe helmer has already signed on to direct a thriller pilot over at Fox, and how's lining up a couple more gigs. First up, Variety reveals that to make amends for his unfortuante, offhand comments regarding rehearsals, Ratner will helm a video campaign for GLAAD. The spot will essentially have Ratner gathering up a bunch of his celeb buddies and have them "come out of the closet" in support of equality. Simple enough. Ratner hopes that "minds and hearts are opened by what we create" - a tall order because none of his movies have been able to that.
The director will also go back to his music video roots as New York Daily News reports he'll get behind the camera for "Follow The Leader" for Jennifer Lopez. The high concept and expensive sounding video will find Jenny from the block making her way through "an urban outdoor adventure game" (we don't know what that means either). This one is coming soon and will premiere during "American Idol" (of course) at the end of March or in early April.

The Howard Stern appearance is actually great. I have so much respeck for people who go on there and have a chill, unguarded interview. The Olivia Munn and "fags" stuff was so stupid of him, but as far as judging him for the stuff he said on Stern - you know you got a kick out of it, and you'd much rather hear that than what some 50-something Oscar producer has to say.

What a fuckin' douchebag. Him and Zack Snyder need to get together for beers and accidentally stumble drunkenly into a large group of VERY militant feminists.
