The Place Beyond The Pines

"The Place Beyond The Pines" is now in theaters in limited release, and it's a movie that we not only really love, but it has sparked some great discussion. No less from director Derek Cianfrance himself, who has shared some great stories with us in our interview with him (read here and here). But let's say you've already soaked up all you need to know about 'Pines,' what's next? Well, how about some swag that will not only profess your admiration for the movie, but let you dive in a bit deeper.

Starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, Rose Byrne, Mahershala Ali, Dane DeHaan, Emory Cohen, Ben Mendelsohn and Ray Liotta, the film chronicles the effects of crime as they refract across generations, and the tenuous bonds between fathers and sons. Gosling stars as Luke, a motorcycle stunt rider suddenly faced with caring for a son he never knew he had, while Cooper is a dedicated cop who will eventually cross paths with the brash hothead. And when they do, their lives change forever. Powering it all is a fantastic score by Mike Patton and we've 3 prize packs for some lucky readers that include the tunes along with a pretty sweet t-shirt (check 'em both out below).

So how do you win? Email us with your name and mailing address and tell us your best (or worst) best father/son story. Good luck!

Update: Contest closed, winners will be contacted via email.

"The Place Beyond The Pines" opens wide on April 12th.
