Review: 'The Immigrant'As was reported last fall, Canuck indie rockers Metric will be providing some tunes for the film, and the soundtrack details have now arrived revealing not only that they've penned three new songs -- "Long To Live," "I Don't Want To Wake Up," "Call Me Home" -- but that rapper K'naan has also delivered "Mecca" as well. Intriguingly, composer Howard Shore co-wrote the songs with Metric, while the lyrics for "Mecca" are credited to "Cosmopolis" author Don DeLillo. We're curious to hear the collaborations, and if you want to get a taste, you can listen to samples of the songs right over here.
No release date for the soundtrack yet, but we presume it will be tied into the release of the film, which hits theaters in North America later this summer. Full tracklist below. [Howe Records]
