Review: 'The Immigrant'Strathairn has come aboard "Godzilla," with Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston, while Juliette Binoche remains one big, fascinating question mark. Details on the Gareth Edwards-directed film are being kept under lock and key, but Strathairn will be playing a "military figure." Okay, then.
Production will likely begin soon with the film slated to roar and stomp into theaters on May 16, 2014 in 3D. [Variety]

Get out of here MAL
i am a huge fan of hers an i enjoyed Godzilla when i was a young kid, I'd love to see her with this already great cast. It has made me start watching older Godzilla films again recently.
You don't know the script or what her character may big but i look forward to a darker, grittier, Godzilla film again. We haven't seen one since Godzilla 1985.

Dear Ms. Binoche,
I implore you to stay away from this movie no matter how much money they offer you. I am a huge fan of yours, and frankly, am also a huge fan of Godzilla's. However, I assure you, the two of you would just not get along. Please remain classy and allow Godzilla to remain trashy.
Thank you in advance for continuing to make only films with at least the aura of the intellectual higher ground. Godzilla will survive (and may even be pretty good and thrive) but you were not meant for this kind of fare.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Fan

Hey, this is a great cast. And if it's a great re-boot on the level of something like The Host, this will be a lot of fun.
