At some point in the last few months, everyone decided it was time to pour some haterade on Anne Hathaway for some reason. It's gotten to the point where the New York Times even did an entire article about it for some reason. Frankly, we don't get it -- she's an excellent actress, who has had some great success, which we suppose makes some people jealous or whatever -- but, Christopher Nolan doesn't read internet gossip and trash and realizes talent when it's in front of him.

Yeah, we know, offer stories are kind of the worst in some ways, but considering that Christopher Nolan keeps everything inside a vault inside his own mind (see what we did there?) any morsel regarding his projects is one we'll take a bite of, so here we are. And here you are, too. Onward...

Well, just like that, the movie has a release date and it looks like it won't be too long before Nolan delivers another multiplex spectacle.

In every interview he did last year -- including our interview with him from December -- Christopher Nolan maintained that his take on Bruce Wayne and Batman was over with “The Dark Knight Rises.” Now, however, Latino Review (via Forbes) is reporting that Warner Bros. -- after possibly scrapping Will Beall’s draft -- is in talks to get the secretive director on board for the future of their superhero slate with a little help from his friends.

It looks like Christopher Nolan fans will still have plenty to talk to about in 2013 -- and it won't all be about the Oscar snub "The Dark Knight Rises" received. Last night came word that, awards season or not, Nolan was already putting together a new project, the sci-fi pic "Interstellar." The big talking point around the movie was that it was something Steven Spielberg was once kicking around, with a script by Jonah Nolan and a story developed by theoretical physicist Kip Thorne. But now, there's even more reason to be excited, as the director will be putting his own distinct stamp on the material.

There is no director in Hollywood who keeps things closer to the chest than Christopher Nolan, but even we didn't expect the announcement of his next film so soon. It looks like now that he's done with the Batman movies, Nolan is cooking up something even more twisty and ambitious than "Inception."

Unlike Best Picture, the Best Director category at the Academy Awards is still only made up of five slots, and it's tough to crack in there, especially as nominees are usually aligned with the Best Picture nominees. More than almost any other category, the merits of a film's direction can sometimes be overlooked in favor of the helmer of the best-liked film, rather than the one who did the most surprising, boldest and impressive work of the year.
