Jersey Boys,
Music has always been a big part of Clint Eastwood's career, with the filmmaker also serving as composer and songwriter for a strong handful of his films, yet he's never actually made a musical. Outside of the biopic "Bird" and an episode of the PBS series "The Blues," Eastwood has never really had the chance to dig elbows deep into movie with wall-to-wall music, but now the director who seems to have done it all, will cross the genre off his bucket list.

Celebrate Action Stars After 60
This week, Liam Neeson can be seen in “Non Stop,” the latest in a surprisingly active career as an action star. While Neeson has a history peppered with prestige films here and there, make no mistake, his most recent resumé consists of kicking ass and taking names. What no one mentions is that Neeson, who is soon scheduled to show up in a third “Taken” film, is actually a spectacular 61 years old, which is impressive considering the leaping, punching, and growling he’s done in recent years. Have you seen your parents lately? They can barely open the door and hoodies terrify them.

We'll say this...Bradley Cooper sure has embarrassment of talent who want to work with him. The actor has used his "The Hangover" bump to line up projects with a variety of esteemed filmmakers, with Cooper pairing up over the last couple years with Susanne Bier ("Serena"), Derek Cianfrance ("The Place Beyond The Pines"), David O. Russell ("Silver Linings Playbook," "American Hustle") and Cameron Crowe (the upcoming, untitled project that shoots this fall). And he was nearly about to cap it all off with Steven Spielberg, who was set to direct "American Sniper" this spring. But just a few months later he bounced out, however it seems one legend will replace another.

“Very impressive. I am beyond contented. I feel the beginning of a new era for Japanese cinema,” original "Unforgiven" director Clint Eastwood said in a statement to Ken Watanabe about the upcoming Japanese-language remake of his western classic. Undoubtedly, he's happy with what filmmaker Lee Sang-il has put together, but will fans of Eastwood's flick agree? We'll soon find out.

10 Movies To See Before The Wolverine
"The Wolverine" isn't just another stand alone movie. Following the disastrous "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," it's a complete tonal overhaul, with the property being rebuilt almost from the ground up. While there might be traces of the character's 'X'-past, particularly in the somewhat-garbled third act, there is still a very clear attempt to remake the character inside a more atmospheric, emotionally rich context. That, coupled with the movie's welcome change in scenery (it's set mostly in Japan), makes it a very, very different X-perience than you're used to. Sure, it has plenty of it's own issues, regardless (you can read our review of the Hugh Jackman movie here), but keeping all this in mind, we thought this would be a good opportunity to run through a list of ten movies that will get you ready for "The Wolverine" - whether literally, spiritually, or thematically, these movies share some mutant DNA with everyone's favorite metallic-clawed hero.

Well, the sun has set on another Tribeca Film Festival, but with a packed schedule, we weren't going to have time for everything. That being said, it was a great year for the festival, with more than a handful of surprising films and performances which we broke down in our Best And Brightest Of The 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. But festivals aren't just an opportunity for movies to find an audience, but it's a place for talent to talk, mingle and share anecdotes and while we could find space in our schedule, thank the digital age for preserving these convos.

Clint Eastwood Eyes Musical 'Jersey Boys'

Given that "Les Miersables" has provided studios $430 million reasons to start putting musicals in development, it may be surprising that there hasn't really been much movement on that front. Well, that's because the genre tends to be expensive, and for every "Les Miserables" there's something like "Nine," a big, gaudy disappointment. But an established property certainly helps things move along, and it looks like "Jersey Boys" -- put into turnaround last fall at Warner Bros. -- may still be alive with a pretty big name kicking the tires.

If you bet any money on this weekend’s box office, you'll have to wait on Monday’s actuals, because this is a tight race between three new releases jockeying for the top spot with lukewarm grosses. Also, maybe see someone for your gambling problem.

Sorry Sly, Clint Eastwood Says He's "Probably Not" Going To Do 'Expendables 3'

While he isn't berating inanimate objects, Clint Eastwood makes movies, and this Friday he'll take his cantankerous self to the baseball diamond in "Trouble With The Curve" (review here). It's another rare acting outing for the man who has mostly spent the last little while behind the camera, but that doesn't mean he still isn't in demand. It was just last month that producer Avi Lerner boasted that he had Nic Cage on board for "The Expendables 3" with plans to approach some new names like Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford and yes, Eastwood. Well, there's one phone call that Lerner can probably take off his list.
