Filming Begins Next SummerWhile we'll always long for the never-made version of "Greenberg" with Mark Ruffalo and Amy Adams, the fact that Ben Stillerand Noah Baumbach are now total besties means that financing probably comes much, much easier for the indie auteur, and if that means he gets more films greenlit, then who are we to complain? It was with much excitement that reports broke earlier in the month that Baumbach was quickly gearing up another film, "While We're Young," a relationship film (shock!) with Ben Stiller and James Franco set to star, and with offers out to both Cate Blanchett and Greta Gerwig. And while we love both actresses, it looks like only one of them will make it to the set.

David Gordon Green isn't fucking around. A new trailer for his upcoming medieval stoner comedy "Your Highness" has arrived and while it's just as funny (though not as raunchy) as the red-band spot that hit last month, it definitely gives us a look at more of the whizz-bang digital effects that look very good, especially for a not-so-serious quest picture.

Sending a signal to Oscar prognosticators, the fake-intellectuals who mock "Iron Man" and masturbate to "The King's Speech," a phalanx of critics organizations revealed their top honors this weekend, drawing a line in the sand. Their message? "The Social Network" is on one side of that line, and all other movies are on the other. The Los Angeles Film Critics Association, the New York Film Critics Online and the Boston Society Of Film Critics selected the David Fincher drama as the year's best film, while the AFI listed the film as one of the year's (unranked) 10 best.

James Franco Also Returns As Franco On 'General Hospital' Following The OscarsJames Franco has already portrayed James Dean in the appropriately titled television movie "James Dean" (see the awesome trailer below) so why not make a biopic about his onscreen pal Sal Mineo ("Rebel Without A Cause," "Giant")?

Project Is Payoff To Franco's 'General Hospital' RoleJames Franco's had a pretty good 2010, but his 2011 is likely to be even better. The polymath will kick things off by not only co-hosting the Academy Awards with Anne Hathaway, but also with a near certain-nomination at the awards for his stunning performance in Danny Boyle's "127 Hours." April will then see him topline the fantasy comedy "Your Highness," and the summer will see him take on his first full-flung blockbuster lead in 20th Century Fox's "Rise of the Apes."

Offers Out To Greta Gerwig & Cate BlanchettIt seems Noah Baumbach and Ben Stiller are new BFFs. Of course, they teamed on "Greenberg" which hit theaters this spring and for a while, they were both tentatively attached to the family film "Mr. Popper's Penguins" until they both dropped off (the project is now moving ahead with Jim Carrey and Mark Waters). Not only that, Baumbach was tapped to do a quick punch up on Stiller's character in the script for the currently shooting comedy "Tower Heist," so it was pretty inevitable the two would find a film to work on again as director and actor.

Considering we're huge fans of pretty much everyone involved, it's almost surprising that we've been cautious of the upcoming fantasy-comedy "Your Highness." But with David Gordon Green's previous studio comedy, "Pineapple Express," being far from a home-run, and a near-six month release delay, signs were beginning to stack up that the film could be yet another expensive, indulgent misfire from Universal. However, our man on the floor of New York Comic-Con flipped for the footage shown there, calling it "excellent, funny [and] thrilling," and now the rest of us have been able to catch up with what he was talking about, with the first widely available footage from the film making its way on to the internet, in the form of a red-band trailer on IGN.

That's The Clever Title For 'Clash Of The Titans 2' In Case You're Not CleverThere have been a lot of rumors of actors being "considered" for roles lately, and usually it's a result of one intrepid producer making a highly optimistic wish list. Every movie has these wish lists - no one ever comes out and says, "I want to cast Patrick Dempsey," but someone's got to end up with him. And so we have names being thrown around for the megabudgeted sci-fi pic "All You Need Is Kill" and the anticipated-by-no-one sequel "Wrath of the Titans."
