10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesCatching up with Empire, when asked about a possible spinoff for his character Luke Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson stressed that it could "possibly" happen after "Fast & Furious 6," but that it was a "goal" they were looking at. Hooray for maybes! But surely there's room for two movies with huge dudes, cars, babes and action, no? Vin Diesel doesn't need to do them all, does he?
Of course, it raises the question of if/how this proposed side movie would fit in with "Fast & Furious 7," which, if recent rumors are anything to go by, will openly be teased at the end of 'Furious 6.' But here's a thought: does it even matter? Of all the franchises going right now, the one that certainly doesn't need to be Marvel-ized is this one, so maybe just stick with Hobbs in his own world, doing his thing? Anyway, we'll see.
