"Easy A" was definitely one of our favorite comedies of the year. Led by a thoroughly charming Emma Stone in a starmaking turn, the film was the rare female-led comedy that was smart, witty and ridiculously fun and funny. We loved it to bits. So color us very excited that director Will Gluck isn't wasting any time in re-teaming with the very hot, and definitely on-the-rise actress to make another film.

Deadline reports that Screen Gems has struck a deal to bring the duo back for another comedy (currently untitled) that will get in front of cameras next summer. Gluck will write the film, but it's still too early for any plot details as he is still apparently working out the beats of the story. While we couldn't be more thrilled that the two are getting back together, we hope that the script is in the right place and that isn't a rush job to strike while the iron is hot with the directing and acting talent.

2011 will mark the busiest year yet for Stone. She will have three films hitting theaters -- "Stupid. Crazy. Love.," "The Help," "Friends With Benefits" -- of course, she is starting filming on the mega-blockbuster "Spider-Man" next month and she may possibly still be teaming with Jonah Hill in "21 Jump Street" (that project recently moved production back just enough that she could conceivably add it to her calendar). Frankly, we think it's great. We often complain when our favorite thesps are getting overlooked, but Stone deserves the due and we can't wait.
