Stanley Tucci confirmed to Digital Spy that Emma Watson is no longer attached to the film with Emily Blunt having since replaced her. Plans for “Your Voice In My Head” to begin production later this spring remains to be seen as they are still searching for a director to helm the project. “Your Voice In My Head” is a candid tale about screenwriter Emma Forrest’s battle with self-destructive behavior and her life was subsequently saved thanks to sessions with a compassionate therapist (Tucci). Emily Blunt taking over for Emma Watson will give the film a different feel, but she’s undoubtedly a worthy replacement, in what sounds like promising material.
Meanwhile, the report of Emma Watson dropping out is interesting considering she has recently passed on the upcoming “Cinderella” film as well. Time will tell where she decides to go from here.

This is what I call an upgrade. Emily is a fantastic actress, her biggest virtue being that she always has fantastic chemistry with each of her castmates. She can have chemistry with a wall for all I know!

Breakthrough? She had that almost seven years ago! And yes, I agree she should have been nominated for an Oscar by now. At least for 'My Summer of Love', 'The Devil Wears Prada', 'The Young Victoria' or 'Looper'! But her time will come!
More Emily Blunt Please | March 12, 2013 11:23 AM
Emily Blunt is one of the best young actresses in the business. She can easily act circles around the overrated Jennifer Lawrence ( her lack of acting range and her horrible PA accent distracted me in Silver Linings Playbook ) , the overrated Emma Stone, the overrated Emma Watson, Carey Mulligan, and Jessica Chastain. Blunt has enormous range and versatility, and deserves a bigger film career. Blunt deserved Oscar nominations for Looper and The Devil Wears Prada.

Yes, this made me so, so happy! I've heard wonderful things about the book and I've been waiting for a role like this for her ever since 'Shoot the Messenger' (based on 'Lying on the Couch', my favourite book) was shelved! She's an exquisite actress and I know she'll shine in this film! I hope they find a director soon! And it's so nice to see her working with Stanley again!
Also, Asian Dude, 'All You Need Is Kill' has a Blacklist script, so that gives me some hope!

So excited! Finally Emily taking some challenging material! This is way better than Tom Cruise's girlfriend in AYNIK. Hope she continues to show her versatility onscreen and found that breakthrough LEADING role in the future.
