Evan Rachel Wood Has '10 Things I Hate About Life'

Here's what you need to know so far about "10 Things I Hate About Life." Despite being brought to you by Gil Junger, the same dude behind "10 Things I Hate About You," it's not actually a sequel to that movie. And even though Hayley Atwell was originally linked to star, a new face has been found for the project.

Evan Rachel Wood has now landed the lead in the movie, that instead of being a loose riff on Shakespeare, will be about a young man and woman who both meet while attempting to commit suicide. 'Hate About Life' indeed. But isn't that set-up sort of the same as "A Long Way Down"?

Anyway, a male lead should be announced shortly because production begins this month in Los Angeles. On the one hand, we like Wood, but on other, Junger hasn't really done anything as noteworthy as 'Hate About You' since, and is mostly doing TV work. But we'll see who joins Wood and how this plays out. [Deadline]
