With the clothes, soundtrack, hair and attitude to match, you might think that Guillaume Canet's "Blood Ties" was airlifted out the world of gritty 1970s cinema, and dropped into cinemas this year. Striving to tell an authentic, period-detailed story of brothers, crime and family, Canet's film assembles an all start cast and lights a fuse of tension, action and drama.

Starring Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Matthias Schoenaerts and James Caan, the 1974, New York set story tells the tale ex-con Chris, recently released from prison, trying to go legit. But when the world of crime comes calling once again, he'll head down a path that'll pit him against his brother Frank, who has carried on the family tradition of being a cop. And that's not all. As you'll see in this exclusive clip, Chris also clashes with Anthony, Frank's girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, where fists and blood flies.

"Blood Ties" opens in theaters and On Demand on March 21st. Watch below.
