10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThe film tells the story of a hitman (Farrell) who’s hired by a young woman named Beatrice (Rapace) to kill a New York City crime lord (played Terrence Howard) to settle a personal vendetta. The film looks as pulpy, moody and twisty as the helmer’s breakout, and will likely appeal to those who enjoyed 'Dragon Tattoo.' In addition to the new snaps above and below, three clips -- roughly a minute each -- also made their way online this week, to give you an additional sneak peek at what the gritty picture will be serving up.
Lastly, you can follow Beatrice on Instagram and then upload your own photos to Instagram using the hashtag #ISawWhatYouDid for your chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card. Head over to the film's official Facebook page for more details and a link to the rules. And then you can go see "Dead Man Down" on March 8th.

Just re-watched the trailer and, dare I say it, this has a Leonesque feel to it.

I have a good feeling about this one. It doesn't look like your average Hollywood- dumb -predictable - action movie. I want to see more depth to the characters, what are the motives behind their actions, etc ... the last thing i want to see is plenty of shootouts just for the sake of the pointless fight scenes and explosions.
