Flipping through VOD options can be daunting, especially given the plethora of content available at just the click of a button. So sometimes, it can be hard to figure what's worth paying for on that upcoming cable bill and what can wait until later on. Sometimes, all you can go on is the cast, and in the case of "Blood"—which features a strong ensemble led by Paul Bettany, Stephen Graham, Mark Strong and Brian Cox—betting on this quartet is a good way to go.
The crime drama, directed by Nick Murphy ("The Awakening"), tells the story of the Fairburn brothers (Bettany and Graham), detectives who have lived under the shadow of their police chief father (Cox), who has his own reputation for this ruthless tactics. But the brothers are forced to start covering their tracks, when they take an interrogation too far, raising the suspicions of their colleague (Strong). And in this exclusive clip, you can get a strong sense of the atmosphere the film delivers as Bettany gets a stern warning.
Catching the movie at the London Film Festival last year, we called it "a smart, well-acted and well-directed picture" and it's one worth finding on your digital dial. "Blood" is now on VOD and opens in limited release on August 9th. Watch below.
