Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January and going on to play SXSW in March, Mike Birbiglia's "Sleepwalk With Me" has slowly been building up some strong word of mouth. And in fact, just last week the film opened the BAMcinemafest in New York City to sold out crowds. At the end of the summer, the movie will make its way to theaters and to give you a little peek, we've got the exclusive poster for the film below.

Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January and going on to play SXSW in March, Mike Birbiglia's "Sleepwalk With Me" has slowly been building up some strong word of mouth. And in fact, just last week the film opened the BAMcinemaFest in New York City to sold-out crowds. At the end of the summer, the movie will make its way to theaters and to give you a little peek, we've got the exclusive poster for the film below.

Based on Birbiglia's successful one-man show -- and marking his writing and directorial debut -- and produced and co-written by Ira Glass (NPR's "This American Life"), "Sleepwalk With Me" tells the tale of a burgeoning stand-up comedian struggling with the stress of a stalled career, a stale relationship threatening to race out of his control, and the wild spurts of severe sleepwalking he is desperate to ignore. Co-starring Lauren Ambrose, Carol Kane, James Rebhorn, Cristin Milioti, and a sampling from the who's who of today's stand-up scene, bursting with sincerity, and at once hilarious and heartbreaking, "Sleepwalk With Me" is one worth tracking down. We enjoyed the film when we saw it in Austin this spring, and we're sure the film will land this neurotic comic talent a few more fans as it rolls out.

Check the film's Facebook page for more details and updates, and see the film when it opens on August 24th. Full poster below.
