Are you frustrated waiting for the return of some of your favorite shows? Would “Arrested Development” and/or “True Blood” be one or both of them? Do you really miss good guy Michael Bluth and/or Viking vampire Eric Northman? Whether you’ve answered any of the above or not, we’ve got the contest giveaway for you.
This upcoming week, “Disconnect” will be released and we’re celebrating by giving away a prize pack with cast-signed poster and soundtrack, along with runner up prizes of just the soundtrack. Starring Jason Bateman and Alexander Skarsgard of the aforementioned shows, with Paula Patton, Hope Davis, Alexander Skarsgard, Max Thieriot and fashion icon Marc Jacobs rounding out the ensemble, it marks the fiction feature debut of documentary director Henry Alex Rubin (“Murderball”) and screenwriter Andrew Stern. With multiple intertwining plots, the film examines a group of people who all find their lives unraveled by the internet – cyber bullying, identity theft, webcam pornography and much more.
But before we get to telling you how to win -- sit back for a moment and take a listen, as we've got the exclusive stream of Max Richter's score for the film. Folks who have been following us know, we're big fans of the composer and his 2008 work on "Waltz With Bashir" we named one of the best of the decade. And even if the name isn't familiar, you've heard his compositions in films like "Shutter Island," "Lore," "Perfect Sense" and much more. Needless to say, he's delivered more great work here.
So, how do you get your hands on this good stuff?
Email us your name and address and tell us your favorite soundtrack from 2012 and why. Good luck!
Update: Contest closed, winners will be contacted via email.
"Disconnect" hits theaters on Friday, and the soundtrack drops on April 23rd.
