Though it went through a lengthy production process that spread across a few years, when Wong Kar-Wai's "The Grandmaster" hit screens last year, the lush photography and fight choreography all seemed so effortless. But a lot of hard work went into every frame of the film, and in the upcoming Blu-ray, some of that work behind-the-scenes gets highlighted so audiences can witness the task both the directors and actors had ahead of them.

Starring Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi, the film tells the story of Ip Man, the martial arts master who revolutionized kung fu and became a teacher to many, including a young man named Bruce Lee. And along the way, Ip Man runs into Ziyi's Gong Er, who has her own battle history behind her. And in this exclusive clip from Blu-ray release, we see the extensive training Ziyi underwent that allowed her to command so much power on the big screen.

"The Grandmaster" is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. Watch below.
