While we're still not quite settled with Darren Aronofsky entering the world of big budget filmmaking with his not-a-sequel "The Wolverine," if it means it can help financing to get more pictures like "Black Swan" made then we're all for it.
A new poster for the ballet world psycho-thriller has landed and its another solid entry of impressive one sheets for the film. Everyone at the Playlist team agrees "Black Swan" is one of Darren Aronofsky's best (this writer believes it's easily his finest to date) with the ambitious film chronicling the wearying psychological toll the pursuit of perfection has on the mind of a ballet dancer, played by Natalie Portman. The film features solid performances all around including Mila Kunis as the rival and Vincent Cassel as the fiery director of the production of Swan Lake.
"Black Swan" will begin rolling out to theaters on December 3rd and in the meantime, the viral site for the film is worth a look. [Movielicious]

This new poster looks amazing, we love the way it hints of blood on Portman's left arm. We remember your previous post (when you guys were still on blogger platform) about how you liked the Soviet propaganda style ones so we thought we might let you know we are currently running a competition for that full set:
