Screw in your eyeballs folks. While the end of 2011 meant lots of best-of-the-year lists, 2012 ushers in "most anticipated" rundowns (including our own) and over at USA Today, they've dropped a dozen movies they've highlighted on their calendar along with a few new stills to go with it. Admittedly, Team Playlist is an oddball collection of cinephiles, snobs and genre-dorks, sometimes only unified by one thing: a healthy dose of skepticism in a world largely occupied by wishful-thinking fanboys. Well, he had a good run but longtime James Bond composer David Arnold, who has scored every 007 outing since 1997's "Tomorrow Never Dies," is being switched out for this year's "Skyfall," according to James Bond news site MI-6. Director Sam Mendes has swapped him for his longtime collaborator Thomas Newman, who has scored all of Mendes' films except 2009's regrettable "Away We Go."

There's no doubt about it, Daniel Craig is one of the best actors to have ever worn the 007 mantle. Things are finally underway on the 23rd entry in the James Bond series, with filming starting late last week, a title confirmed as "Skyfall," the cast of Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney and Naomie Harris formally announced, and even a vague plot synopsis being revealed. Now that shooting has begun in London, there's been a couple of last-minute casting announcements; one a name previously linked with the project, one a brand new one.
