And today, March 14th, marks the last day on which films can be seen by the selection panel for the festival, which kicks off May 15th.

It seems the release or premiere of Bong Joon-ho's "Snowpiercer" keeps getting closer and closer, and certainly it's one we're very excited about. The latest star-studded effort by the helmer behind "The Host" and "Mother" is beginning to show a bit more behind the curtain, and after some concept art and an official image, the first (non-sales) poster arrived.

These three upcoming movies will hope to accomplish that, and we have some new images to get you ready for what's to come.

We hope you've had a chance by now to look at Part 1 of our 100 Most Anticipated Films Of 2013, but even if you haven't, you'd be right in guessing that Bong Joon-ho's English language debut "Snowpiercer" would be on the list. The latest from the director of "The Host" and "Mother" brings together an all-star cast for a snowbound thriller, and with The Weinstein Company putting it in their pocket in November and aiming for a summer release, we're likely to see much more from the movie soon.

It looks like The Weinstein Company has been busy this week picking up movies. With an Oscar slate that already (potentially) includes "The Master," "Django Unchained," "Silver Linings Playbook" and "The Intouchables," they've got another ace up their sleeve. But first, they've nabbed a movie that's already high on our list for 2013.

Versatile Danish thesp Mads Mikkelsen is set to team with "Man On A Ledge" helmer Asger Leth for road film "Move On." Developed by Matt Greenhalgh (screenwriter of "Control" and "Nowhere Boy"), the story begins with a flawed hero, stepping off a boat in Rotterdam before traveling across Europe to deliver a mysterious silver suitcase. Lensing will take the production across eight different countries in a hectic 30-day chronological shoot, and will unusually involve the participation of film fans from 11 countries in areas such as casting, location and props. More details can be found at the film's website, but each country's shoot will make up a 5-8 minute segment of the movie, with a shoot commencing this summer before a September unveiling. "Snow Piercer," the English-language debut of Korean auteur Bong Joon-Ho, got a pretty neat little boost last night when one of its previously-announced cast members, Octavia Spencer, only went and won herself a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in "The Help." The award was widely expected, but nevertheless, having the actress on board can only help to raise the profile of the project.

For his English language debut, Bong Joon-Ho is certainly stacking the deck to make sure he doesn't fuck it up. With a cast that already includes Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, John Hurt and Song Kang-Ho, he's gone ahead and added to the already fantastic ensemble by signing on an actress who might just be walking away with an Oscar in the coming weeks.

At the grand old age of 72, nearly fifty years after his first screen appearance, John Hurt is seemingly busier than ever. The actor has no fewer than eleven credits from 2011, ranging from his snarling supporting turn in "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" and high-class work in "Melancholia" to short films and cameos in blockbusters like 'Harry Potter' and "Immortals." The actor has always pursued work with a diverse range of directors, and shows no sign of stopping there as he's just signed up for the latest film for one of the most acclaimed names in international cinema in the last few years.
