Review: 'The Immigrant'
Kurylenko is the biggest name involved with this project, which is directed by Michael French, and tells the story about a young man in an undersea kingdom who has to save his father, while encountering ferocious sea monsters, mermaids, monsters and demons. Okay, then. Certainly for Kurylenko, the experience was both baffling and exhausting. “I acted at some point with a guy who only spoke Chinese to me and I had no idea what he was saying. It had a mix of people, Americans, Europeans and Chinese… so I don’t even know what language it’s in,” she told us last year. "...And the costumes! My costume and makeup took five hours every day. I had to come in at 4:00 am and the girls would paint on me, and stick all of these things to me. I had these wings like a fish['s fins] and a tail and it was very cool. I just couldn’t understand what anybody was saying but I learned very quickly. In those five hours they were teaching me Chinese.”
No word yet on the staus of the film, or when it might begin to roll into theaters either internationally or at home. But perhaps this image is the first step of some kind of appearance or news in the coming months. [Kinopoisk]

It's not the first photo, either. Numerous set photos have been leaked. Link: http://blog.80millionmoviesfree.com/in-theaters/empires-of-the-deep-movie-photos
