10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesEW has landed the first look at the movie, which has Amanda Seyfried in the lead role playing the "Deep Throat" star, with Peter Sarsgaard (kind of channeling Danny Masterson from "That '70s Show") as her husband. The film from "Howl" directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman has put togther a pretty solid cast with Juno Temple, Sharon Stone, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick and Adam Brody in supporting roles with cameos from James Franco and Demi Moore as Hugh Hefner and Gloria Steinem, respectively. So yeah, at any rate, this should be fascinating.
The production is currently in front of cameras, but hot on its heels is "Inferno," which rolls next month with Malin Akerman and Matt Dillon in the lead roles. The differences in the two movies may boil down to their source material, with "Lovelace" landing a script from W. Merritt Johnson (”In Treatment,” “Temple Grandin”) that is based on the very slim, and seemingly out of print/hard to get book “The Complete Linda Lovelace” by Eric Danville. Meanwhile, "Inferno" will be based on the memoir "Ordeal" that has been adapted by writer/director Matthew Wilder.
No release date yet, but it seems these two films will be fighting each other to stay ahead of the game.

according to the playlist, every cast is "solid" or "amazing" or "all star"
can't you ever just list a cast without nutting over it?
I mean, Wes Bently, Hank Azaria, Peter Sarsgaard, Adam Brody, and Amanda Seyfriend? How is that in any way solid, it's a bunch of actors who have a huge collection of flops between them

Gee, the wig is definitely awful (for Amanda's sake let's hope it's a wig)...

Getting a bad vibe from the bad wig Seyfried is sporting. Meh.
