Review: 'The Immigrant'The Daily Mail (via Cinemateaser) have served up the first look at Toby Jones and Sienna Miller in "The Girl." Directed by Julian Jarrold ("Becoming Jane," "Red Riding: 1974") and penned by Gwyneth Hughes ("Miss Austen Regrets," "Five Days"), the 90-minute drama for the BBC focuses on the director's obsessive relationship with Tippi Hedren, who starred in "The Birds" and "Marnie." "I admired Hitch tremendously for his great talent and still do. Yet, at the same time, I loathed him for his off-set behaviour and the way he came on to me sexually," Hedren explained to the paper. "He was a great director – and he destroyed it all by his behaviour when he got me alone."
There's nothing we like more than a juicy behind-the-scenes look at the movies, and this project looks like it will deliver a deliciously scandalous tale. No word yet on when it will air in the U.K. or if/when it will make its way stateside, but we'll be keeping an eye and ear out. Check out the image in full below followed by the vintage photo of Hitchock and Hedren for comparison.

Even though she isn't a great actress this does look interesting. Though I do think Tippi was a striking beauty and sorry Sienna your cute but not stunning.

Are we forgetting that Sienna Miller can't act?
