Jason Clarke Everest

The climb has begun. Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes and Jake Gyllenhaal are now climbing "Everest" for Baltasar Kormákur, and the first image from the 3D adventure/drama is here.

Penned by Mark Medoff and Simon Beaufoy, the film is inspired by the events surrounding a treacherous attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, with "Everest" documenting the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest of elements found on the planet, and the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.

I think the script is by Lem Dobbs, Justin Isbell and William Nicholson? Not sure where you got Beaufoy and Medoff from...

Oh, ok. Those 3 guys definitely wrote on it as well. It began as a script by Isbell, I can't see him not getting a credit...
