French filmmaker Olivier Assayas, the man behind "Carlos" and "Summer Hours," is embarking on his English language feature debut. Bringing together a starry cast, cameras are currently rolling on "Sils Maria," and thanks to some overseas press, some first looks at the film have arrived.

Starring a promising trifecta of actresses in Juliette Binoche, Chloe Grace Moretz and Kristen Stewart, the film will tell the story an older actress (Binoche) who gets obsessed-over by a younger thesp (Moretz) taking on a role that her made famous. As you'll see below, Johnny Flynn (who featured in the director's "Something In The Air" and stars opposite Anne Hathaway in the upcoming "Song One") plays the love interest of Moretz, but sorry Twihards, no official snaps of KStew. (Though there are plenty of unofficial ones floating around).

No word yet on a release date, but we'd wager to keep your eyes on Cannes next spring, with IFC Films already slated to distribute the film in the United States. [Sudostschweiz/SRF]

Love Assaya. He can do no wrong in my eyes. Juliette is a favorite, too. Interesting to see them team up once again. KStew will be probably be fine, she had a respectable, if not great, indie career before Twilight and was good in that James Gandolfini film and On the Road. It's interesting to see how many great projects Chloe is snatching up.

I loved Assayas' 'Carlos'. And Juliette Binoche is always worth watching, she's golden. The fact Assayas wrote this for Binoche and the two other female leads has me really looking forward to this movie. Have to agree with the 'Twihard' comment, Stewart is a lot more than the Twilight movies - 'Into the Wild', 'On the Road', 'The Yellow Handkerchief' (with Eddie Redmayne, Maria Bello and William Hurt) and 'Welcome to the Rileys' (James Gandolfini was great but Melissa Leo's agoraphobic is one of my favorite acting performances ever), all excellent! Stewart has impeccable taste in indie material. Some may work better than others but guaranteed there's always something worth watching. Matched up with the powerhouses that are Assayas and Binoche this movie can't help but be interesting.

Can you stop with the Twihard BS. Kristen Stewart has Kristen Stewart Fans - period. She has millions of fans around the world who love all her work. So, stop being stupid idiots at the Playlist and if you want to reference her fans, just say "Kristen Stewart Fans" because my husband is a huge fan and he's never seen Twilight. It's simply embarrassing to reference all of her fans as "Twihards". It's juvenile. Very "fanboyish" and stupid.

I'd appreciate it at least for my husband's sake. Thanks.

I loved Carlos and Summer Hours. Assayas is a brilliant director. Cannes is a likely destination for Sils Maria.
