10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesFeaturing in intriguing ensemble that includes Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Michael Caine and Common, the story follows the Robin Hood-esque tale of a team of the world’s greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances and shower the profits onto their audiences.
Now, courtesy of USA Today, we have the first official look at Fisher's character, the group's escape artist, evidently in the midst of a daring display. "So many things can go wrong on something like this," the actress joked. "And I was doing the scene in high heels."
Eisenberg plays the group's leader, a sleight-of-hand specialist, with Harrelson as the hypnotist/mentalist and Franco as a pickpocketer/generalist while Ruffalo and Laurent are the law-enforcement agents on the group's tail. Meanwhile, Freeman and Caine are a retired magician and wealthy benefactor backing the gang.
"Now You See Me" hit theaters on January 18, 2013 with a Chemical Brothers score to boot.
