What do you do if the world is about to end? If you're Keira Knightley, you grab your vinyl records, hook up with Steve Carrell and hit the road. We can dig that.

Some set photos have emerged for the upcoming comedy-drama “Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World,” giving us our first look at the two thesps as they deal with the impending apocalypse. The film, the directorial debut of “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist” writer Lorene Scafaria, stars Carell as a man who, when an asteroid is about to bring about the end of the world, enlists his neighbor, to be played by Knightley, to search for his childhood sweetheart. Helping out along the way is an extensive cast includes Melinda Dillon, Melanie Lynskey, Patton Oswalt, T.J. Miller, Rob Huebel, Connie Britton, Mark Moses, William Petersen, Adam Brody, Derek Luke, Rob Corddry and Lindsay Sloane.

Filming continues on the Focus Features production which is pretty safe bet to hit cinemas next year. More pics after the jump. [Accidental Sexiness/IMDB]

"...enlists his neighbor, to be played by Knightley, to search for his childhood sweetheart."

But what if he falls in love with *her* instead?!

Is it weird that Knightley looks prettier here than she ever has in her glamor model roles? I only ever liked her in Bend it Like Beckham, where she was rather dorky.

I though she was going to do Anna Karenina first. Oh well, I’m always excited for whatever she does. Even when she voices Tinker Bell in that new Peter Pan movie.

    Doesn't this look so obvious?
