First Look At The Cast Of 'X-Men: First Class' In Costume

Update: MSN have unveiled the final version of the first look at the cast of X-Men in costume, check after the jump for a closer look at the X-Men.

Well, this is a bit of mystery. The savvy Bleeding Cool manage to salvage the first official look at the cast of "X-Men: First Class" in their superhero gear that dropped on MSN and then promptly disappeared. Maybe someone was too quick with the trigger?

Anyhow, bulk of the mutant crew are here with the cast led by James McAvoy (Professor X) and Michael Fassbender (Magneto) with Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), January Jones (Emma Frost), Oliver Platt (Man In Black), Caleb Landry (Banshee), Lucas Till (Havoc), Edi Gathegi (Darwin), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Zoe Kravitz (Angel) and Kevin Bacon as the evil Sebastian Shaw. And yes, while January Jones looks great, we still have memory burn from her dress at the Golden Globes.

Just a few months to go until we see what Matthew Vaughn has cooked up, with "X-Men: First Class" set to arrive on June 3rd. A trailer should be along any day now.

Why do they need costumes? They don't have secret identities. These costumes aren't bulletproof. Marvel is supposed to be the realistic label.

They kinda' look ridiculous. And this is coming from a fan of superhero movies... Most distracting is Beast and Mystique. We'll see how this goes.

the cast looks good, but the (obvious) continuity errors are keeping me from getting excited about the movie. And don't try and tell me it's a reboot b/c Vaughn (and the cast) have said it's a PREQUEL.
