Though the sequel to “Dumb and Dumber” had often been speculated about, it still came as a nice surprise to fans when it was officially announced, with Universal giving it a home.  An even bigger surprise is the speed at which the film is coming.  Due to the fact that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels both have projects in the pipeline, they have to start production on “Dumb and Dumber To” very soon. That means a production that had no traction just a week ago is about to see quite a few news updates. The first of which is that the Farrelly Brothers have found someone to score the soundtrack for the upcoming sequel.

Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore from the glam pop duo Empire of the Sun have been approached by Peter and Bobby Farrelly to score the soundtrack for “Dumb and Dumber To.” The Australia-based band just recently put out their latest album Ice on the Dune, which seems to be tracking well with critics.  Some might say that “Empire of the Sun” is an odd choice for a movie like this, but the band had a track on "Hall Pass" as well...so guess it makes sense?

The upcoming sequel will find Lloyd (Carrey) and Harry (Daniels) back on another road trip adventure, so Harry can find his illegitimate daughter for a kidney transplant....all scored to stuff like this song.... [MusicFeeds]

It's too. As in also. Additionally... Not "to".

Nope, it's actually "to." It's supposed to be a joke in the title and yeah, it's not funny.
