10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThe next effort from director of "A Prophet," the film is adapted from the short stories by Canadian author Craig Davidson, and follows the relationship between a homeless man (Schoenaerts) and a trainer of killer whales in a sea park (Cotillard) who loses her legs in a horrific accident. Both actors look to have a formidable presence in the film which is promising to deliver another deeply dramatic punch. Needless to say, we're excited.
"Rust And Bone" opens in France on May 17th and the picture is widely expected to be announced as part of the Cannes Film Festival lineup on Thursday. Sony Pictures Classics will release the film later this year.

Looks very promising. And if this movie will be premiered in Cannes Film Festival, Marion can win award for Best Actress. Looking forward, I see one of the best performances of 2012.

From the "stunning trailer" it looks like she doesn't lose legs(but uses a wheelchair). ;p

I have heard that Sony Pictures Classics will distribute this film in the US. I read that on several sites so I am assuming it is true. In any case, I can't wait to see this film.

It is definitely one of my most anticipated films, Marion Cotillard is one of my favorites and this looks incredible! Matthias is also a great actor and I find him very sexy. The only thing I'm sad about is its going to be awhile before I see it in the states. I have a theater in my city that shows great international films, etc. but it doesn't get the films as quickly as LA, NYC.
