Scoot McNairy is the best actor right now that no one has heard of. Incredibly versatile, deeply talented and something of a chameleon too, he's quietly racked up a CV of films that includes Gareth Edwards' breakout "Monsters," Andrew Dominik's "Killing Them Softly," Gus Van Sant's "Promised Land," Steve McQueen's "12 Years A Slave," David Michôd's "The Rover," the upcoming "Frank," and that has all led to a starring role in the new AMC series "Halt & Catch Fire." And now, McNairy is making the blockbuster leap.

Deadline reports that the actor has joined the ensemble of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice." His role? No one is talking, but if you ask us, he'd be a great Flash. Just saying. And we'd also have to assume that Bruce Wayne himself—Ben Affleck—likely put in a good word for the actor after his nice turn in "Argo."

Speculate away below. "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" opens on May 6, 2016.
