High school is a scary place to graduate from in the upcoming thriller "Downers Grove."
Based on the book by Michael Hornberg, and adapted by Bret Easton Ellis, the story "revolves around a cursed high school in the Chicago suburb of Downers Grove. At the end of each school year, one senior dies in a bizarre death." Hayden Panettiere and Nikki Reed have joined the film, most likely playing students at the school while Rebecca De Mornay is also onboard in a currently unknown role.
It sounds like some intriguing material to be sure, but we're wary on this one mostly because faceless director Nelson McCormick ("The Stepfather," "Prom Night") is helming and also because, as celebrated as he is, Easton Ellis' last screenplay effort was the disastrous "The Informers." Anyway, we'll keep on the picture, which is gathering up financing at AFM and is set to go in front of cameras in Louisiana next spring.

1 question: Does Hayden get nude? If not then I'll pass.

To be fair, Brett Easton Ellis' script of “The Informers” had been changed so much after the film's director (Gregor Jordan) came on board.
Even Ellis himself said: " it’s the director’s version of the script, and that’s just how it is."
