When you next see Helena Bonham Carter, she'll be dragging around a peg leg and amplifying her curves with a corset in "The Lone Ranger." And after that? Well, she'll dive right back into the wacky wardrobe for another big Disney movie.
The studio has announced that Carter has joined their live action "Cinderella." Set to be directed by Kenneth Branagh, the film will find the actress in the role of the fairy godmother to Lily James, with Cate Blanchett as the Evil Stepmother and "Game Of Thrones" star Richard Madden as the prince. Meanwhile, the step-sisters are shaping up to be played by Holliday Grainger and Sophie McShera. Sounds....magical? We guess?
Production will begin later this year, but no release date slated yet.
