Kevin Spacey stars as Francis Underwood, the Machiavellian chief whip of the House of Representatives on a ruthless quest for power. Robin Wright, Kate Mara, Michael Kelly, Kristen Connolly, Corey Stoll and Mahershali Ali are among the cast, and it seems none of them are beyond reproach. Each get their own little catch phrase, with the highlighted letters spelling out another attribute they each have. Washington often makes a great backdrop for both comedy and drama, and this looks like it'll be wickedly sharp material.

This is so obvious that they're pushing these series for Emmys.

These look surprisingly good, but nothing will be able to replicate the magic of the original series with Ian Richardson .. which, ironically enough, I believe, is available in some from on Netflix!
