Review: 'The Immigrant'
Chronicling the lives of four men deep in the throes of crisis, if "I Melt With You" proves anything, it's that these guys had great taste in music in college. Playing like a mixtape you made circa the early '90s, the soundtrack for the film spans fourteen tracks featuring some pretty solid selections.
Things kick off with the one-two punch of "All Going Out Together" and "Blue Thunder" by Big Dipper and Galaxie 500 respectively. From there things get funkier with the classic "Maggot Brain" by Funkadelic, before The Jesus And Mary Chain arrive with the undeniable "Just Like Honey." As the disc gets into the second half, the solid string of songs continue with "Caribou" by The Pixies, "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything" by Bauhaus, "Dog Eat Dog" by Adam And The Ants and what seems like a new version/remix of the title track by Modern English.
"I Melt With You" is on VOD now and hits theaters on December 9th. The soundtrack will hit stores on December 13th. Full tracklist below.

What's that one sad song?!!!
The beautiful song.
The one particular scene is when the one guy (the doctor) who injects himself with either some unknown substance or Heroine. It's rather a sad song, sang by a lovely woman's voice, and I can't seem to find out who sang it. If any of you have watched that movie before or have it on Netflix, it's at 1:44:08. PLEASE FIND IT FOR ME(:

What's the song when Rob Lowe (Jonathan) dances at the party by himself? He is stoned, eyes closed and seems like he is screaming...
Thank you!

I wanted to hear Sex Pistols and Clash songs on the soundtrack. they were a big part of the "feel" of the movie. There are also a couple of other songs I wanted to hear but don"t know the artists. Very frustrating. Not to say that the songs on the soundtrack aren't great songs. I just wish the other songs were on it as well. The movie was so great and the music was too.

What's the name of the song from the movie with the lyrics, "I am a coward?"

My guess as to why some songs didn't make the soundtrack is record labels and licensing stuff. Its probably a lot easier to get permission to use a song in a film than it is to release it on a CD.

Okay - the music in this movie was great. I was super excited when I heard the Stone Roses play Adored. It made me have the chills. But now I see that song isn't even in the soundtrack. Really? What happened? This was the best song in the movie. Too bad its not on here.

Uuuum why is it that EVERY posting of the soundtrack for "I Melt With You" is missing one of *the* *best* tracks that was perfectly audible in its entirety during the film...??? I seriously want to understand why Adored (Stone Roses) was not included in the soundtrack list. Please enlighten me! Merci!
