I'm an old man and maybe I just prefer to see an entire movie rather than a portioned out chunk, but hey, if it's free, I guess the price is right. And given the buzz around "Guardians Of The Galaxy," I'm sure fans won't be too picky when it comes to getting a generous early look at the Marvel movie at their local IMAX theater.

On Monday, July 7th, at 7 PM—one night only folks—on 150 screens in the United States and Canada, Marvel will unveil 17 minutes of footage from "Guardians Of The Galaxy" in IMAX. “We’ve re-mastered some of our epic sequences into the IMAX 3D format, taking the scope and scale to new heights while creating a truly immersive, cinematic experience that will take you further into the Marvel Universe than ever before,” director James Gunn said, which we suppose means, get ready for your eyeballs to melt. Tickets are first come, first served right here, and attendees will get a free, limited (and pretty ugly), "Guardians Of The Galaxy" poster like the one below.

Meanwhile, if you can't wait one week for that,  a new featurette and TV spot will hopefully tide you over with more hype and footage. "Guardians Of The Galaxy" opens on August 1st.
