What would happen if you discovered that a young woman, claiming to be from the future, was recruiting followers in your neighborhood? Would you go check it out? And if you did, would you want to return to your everyday routine afterward? That's the question at the heart of this new clip from Zal Batmanglij's "Sound Of My Voice."

Starring and co-written by Brit Marling, the film follows two young people who set off to infiltrate and investigate a cult only to fall deeper than ever expected. Fox Searchlight has been savvy in their marketing of the film, showing off the first 12 minutes online before dropping the eventual trailer. But as the director cautioned potential viewers, this is one you'll want to go into knowing as a little about as possible, and you'll probably want to stay away from reviews and conversations until you take it in, and experience the twists all for yourself.

"Sound Of My Voice" arrives in a few weeks on April 27th. Check out the clip and poster for the film below.
