Anyhow, in this recent interview with WGNTV when asked about the possibility of participating in a third "Ghostbusters" film, he answers with "well, it's a possibility." But Murray evades the question pretty quickly and then goes on to promote films that are already done and in the can, saving his highest praise for Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom" which he calls one of "the funniest" things he's ever worked for (as for working on "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III," he calls work with the lead Charlie Sheen a "piece of cake"). So is the actor just being polite or is "Ghostbusters 3" slowly inching forward with Bill Murray's (likely limited if it does happen) participation? Certainly some eager fans will find his words optimistic, but we'll believe it when we see it.

Bill Murray may be a drinkin', smokin', fool-genius, but I'd say he's a pretty exceptional guy. He thinks the world is ridiculous, and he has the guts to say it with a straight face--that's what gets the laughs. And he's so likeable in person that he gets people to go along with him. Well, the whole Murray clan is hilarious--all the brothers. They're very funny guys, and seeing them together you can see where maybe he got so sharp with riffing off other people.
Sure, he's had a couple of divorces, and he's got a mean side. I'd rather have that in a person than some false fronted person who's very concerned with 'being healthy.' That's the bullshit that Murray pulls down all the time. Buuut...I would agree that it's possible that he has a bit of an drinking and pot problem. Don't think that makes him an alcoholic.

Lets hope that Bill Murray isn't messing with the Fans or Dan Aykroyd. If I was Bill I would do the movie but I'm not Bill but if I was Bill I wouldn't complain I would do the movie. If Bill Murray has a change in heart to do a Ghostbusters 3 that's Awesome and if not then his loss because GB3 Will be made without Bill and a New Dr. Venkman Joining Ray,Winston and Egon. So Come on Bill Please Keep your word because you told Howard Stern in 2011 that you owe Ivan and it's GB3. You know Bill that Ivan wants to make GB3 and so does the Fans so if you have a change in heart Awesome Please do a GB3 because you Owe Ivan a Huge Favor and it's GB3 remember that GB3 Interview from Feb. in 2011 on The Howard Stern Show, of course you remember because I remember hearing it.

Bill Murray's behavior seems funny. Remember tho, you don't know the real Bill Murray. Yeah you might have met him and he seemed nice, but rememer he is a pot head drug addict and alcoholic who has been through at least two wives (one who he left for another, and that one who he abused), and many girl friends. I won't go in item by item, but remember what he said to a fan while filming Moonrise Kingdom. She said she loved him. He hollered she didn't know what love is. Bill Murray has some sort of a pent up anger in him and it's manifestation is that he for some reason, needs to hurt the people who love him. He can't abuse his wife anymore. Now, he's got you. His fans. He can lie to you, he can hurt you (dying, and not saying anything; just surprising people with really devestating bad news), and that satisfies his need to hurt. He can't beat Jennifer Butler Murray anymore, but he can hurt you. Don't fall for the GB bs. That's what it is.

Get the guy signed up for the next Garfield movie but when it comes to a sequel to Ghostbusters? Oh no, can barely be bothered.

I agree with this: "meh, do we really need another one?"
