Review: 'The Immigrant'Isla Fisher (playing Myrtle Wilson) and Joel Edgerton (playing Tom Buchanan) each have their own poster, dazzling the eyes in typical Luhrmann fashion. The posters feature text from the book instead of boilerplate taglines, to heighten the emotion around each character. And certainly, "smouldering" and "carelessness" could be used to encompass most of Jay Gatsby and his Jazz-age friends as they grapple with various personal turmoils.
"The Great Gatsby" will sit on the edge of the summer blockbuster season with a May 13, 2013 release slated. Posters below. [Warner Bros.]
