There's a good Labor Day and S&M joke in here somewhere, but we're still getting coffee in our system so we'll let you figure that one out, but it looks like the restraints have been put around the first cast member for your Mom's most highly anticipated erotic drama ever, "Fifty Shades Of Grey."
Universal Pictures has announced that Dakota Johnson ("The Social Network," "21 Jump Street") will take it off and get it on as Anastasia Steele. The news isn't entirely shocking—it just over a week ago that she was reported as being a contender—but this is official confirmation that should put the rumors around this role to an end. Kelly Marcel has penned the script that will chronicle the hawt relationship between hunky 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey and college student Anastasia Steele.
Who will take the male lead? Charlie Hunnam's name has been kicked around recently, and author E.L. James has tweeted that he has indeed landed that key role, with Universal confirming the casting. Fans, what do you think?
Sam Taylor-Johnson ("Nowhere Boy") will direct the movie that is already slated to drop on August 1, 2014. Talk about summer heat...
