James Gunn Confirms Cameo For 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Plus New Empire Covers

Do we have to say this? Really? Well, okay: there are spoilers ahead. Seriously, if you don't want to know the cameo appearance in the upcoming "Guardians Of The Galaxy," turn around now, go do something else, just do anything except reading any further.

For the rest of you, among the surprises James Gunn is promising for "Guardians Of The Galaxy"—which includes aspect ratio shifting for IMAX screenings—is a cameo from regular collaborator Nathan Fillion. The actor has appeared in the director's "Slither" and "Super," and yep, he'll be popping up in 'Galaxy' too. Of course, what his exact role is you'll just have to wait and see. Here's what Gunn had to say on Twitter:

Meanwhile, Marvel's marketing machine continues over at Empire, where two new covers show off more of Peter Quill and the gang as they get ready to blast off for space adventures. "Guardians Of The Galaxy" opens on August 1st and tell us your guesses for Fillion's cameo below.
