The Farrelly Brothers have locked down another key cast member for their upcoming "The Three Stooges," and no, it's not Cher as they had hoped earlier on or Richard Jenkins as was speculated way back when (which kinda would have been awesome).
Deadline reports that comedy veterean and current "Glee" star Jane Lynch will the role of a nun who will likely play a central role in the lives of Larry, Curly and Moe. The new film will be made up of three shorts telling one single story that will deliver the old school nyuks nyuks of the classic black and white laffers, while placing the trio in a modern context.
Lynch joins the leading trio of Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos (who is expected to sign) in the film along with Sofia Vergara who is slotted in another female lead role. Filming begins next month.
