10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesFirst up, EW reports that indie darling Jena Malone has been added to the list of contenders to play Johanna in 'Catching Fire.' The girl from District 7 is fierce competitor who teams up with Katniss and Peeta as they head into the 75th Hunger Games. The magazine says that Wasikowska would not be available to star and "was never approached," though we stick by our source on that one, as she was definitely under consideration. We're told Aggeliki is still in the hunt as well. For Malone, this would be another rare blockbuster turn, a move she's rarely done outside of "Sucker Punch." But she was recently on the acclaimed History Channel mini-series "Hatfields & McCoys" so perhaps this boost in profile has given her a shot at another big movie.
Meanwhile, in some more bizarre news, rapper/actor L'il Romeo aka Romeo Miller has told MTV he's talked to Lionsgate about the film. "I actually just met with Lionsgate about that, so you may be seeing me in one of the 'Hunger Games.' That's all I'm saying," Miller said. "Not a particular role, we just had a meeting, seeing if it was something I was interested in. I can't really talk too much, or they'll kill me. You know how 'The Hunger Games' is." Huh. Any thoughts 'Hunger Games' fans on who he could play?
Of course, Johanna isn't the only role to be filled out with Finnick Odair and Plutarch Heavensbee also up for grabs. Some decisions soon then? The Francis Lawrence directed movie hits on November 22, 2013.

Wasn't your initial report completely wrong? I'm down with Jena Malone for Johanna Mason.

Can Lil' Romeo be one of the Morphling addicts? The one character I'm really psyched about seeing is Chaff, the guy with one arm stump. For some reason that scene when they're talking on stage and all the former tributes/current tributes hold hands, and Katniss grabs his stump, I was in tears.
