Singer, Grammy and Oscar, Weight Watchers spokesperson and actress, Jennifer Hudson's career has certainly moved in many different directions in front of the camera and behind the microphone, and she's added another interesting project to her CV.
Deadline reports that Hudson will play Sister Rosemary in the upcoming "The Three Stooges" directed by the Farrelly Brothers. She joins an eclectic cast that includes Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos, Sofia Vergara, Jane Lynch, Larry David and Stephen Collins. The new film will be made up of three shorts telling one single story that will deliver the old school nyuks nyuks of the classic black and white laffers, while placing the trio in a modern context.
It's an interesting move for Hudson who has mixed up her post-"Dreamgirls" film roles with fluff like "Sex And The City" and more dramatic fare like "Winged Creatures," "The Secret Life Of Bees" and the forthcoming Mandela biopic "Winnie." This will be her first turn in a full on comedy. Filming is already underway on "The Three Stooges" which doesn't have a release date pegged just yet, but we'd guess an announcement will be made shortly.

Difficult to imagine a headline I would be more indifferent to not involving "The Hunger Games."
