10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesBrilliantly titled "Heaven And Mel," Eszterhas says of the book, “On a human level it’s a great story, and it can’t be told in a nine-page letter. Much of it is amusing, some of it is very serious and has to do with anti-Semitism and questions of values. But mostly it’s just very human. I view it as a terrific tale.” That's one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is as an excuse to publish emails from Mel Gibson, which apparently this will include, featuring such out of context quotes as: “JUST GOT BOUNCED OFF HANGOVER. NO ONE WILL TELL ME WHY. THIS TOWN SUCKS!” Truly riveting.
At least this won't cost you too much, with Kindle Single selling for a mere $2.99. In case you care, Amazon will release this on June 6th and we suppose it will be good, trashy, exploitative, unnecessary summer reading for the beach. No word yet if Mel's lawyers are at the ready, but we presume this isn't the last we'll hear on this story.

Joe, you couldn't possibly be more of an immature tool. Give it a rest, grow up and just stay in Ohio or wherever the hell you are these days.

Joe says "I view it as a terrific tale." A "tale" is FICTION. And this from a man who made the self-righteous claim of wanting to "help" Gibson because he's troubled. Gibson is troubled because he has nasty people around him who want to make money by selling out-of-context private recordings and other lies about his private life. What a shameful thing to do to another human being.

Eszterhas himself need help as he has his own personal issues. That's the first, and the second thing is that Eszterhas has no life anymore. He's really pissed, and he is to blame for what happened not Mel or Warner Bros. Joe took a year to finish the script and then turned in late. Oh, he turned in a bad work late by the way, which Warner Bros. could not tolerate. So, they decided to trash the script. Mel, on the other hand has all the right to be upset and ignore Joe for ruining the script. So, when Mel ignores Joe. Joe gets mad and decides to publish a letter to THE WRAP.
Old news, folks. Move on. Eszterhas has no life, and he's trying to stir the mess that Mel was in few years ago. I cannot wait actually to see Mel taking Joe to court. That will be fun.
