10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThe always awesome John Goodman has joined the continually growing cast in the upcoming sequel. He joins Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms in the movie, whose plot is being kept under wraps and may or may not involve breaking Alan out of a mental hospital. Goodman's role will be small, but he'll be the central antagonist in the pic. And he comes aboard the growing roster of talent, which now includes Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Mike Epps and Sasha Barrese, and we'd wager there is still even more to come.
Production will be underway shortly with the movie dropping in theaters on May 24, 2013. [Variety]

Paul Giamatti was so, so horrible in Hangover 2. Him and the Mike Tyson cameo at the end were the worst parts in a movie full of worst parts. That being said there's no reason a third one can't work. Also did anyone see The Daily Show where Gallifinakis and Ferrell were promoting The Campaign? Zack looked really thin and weird I wonder if that has anything to do with this role
