With Barry Levinson now on board to direct "Gotti: Three Generations" replacing the recently departed Nick Cassavetes, casting continues on the crime family saga, and it's getting strange.
Variety reports that John Travolta will be joined by his wife Kelly Preston and his daughter Ella Bleu in the upcoming film reprising their familial roles as the wife and daughter of Travolta's John Gotti Sr. The casting is...interesting we suppose, but with a cast that's also rounded out by Joe Pesci and Lindsay Lohan it's also pretty fucking weird too.
As Travolta is now spending his summer with Oliver Stone in "Savages," the production will now gear up this fall in New York City with a theatrical release being eyed for 2012. The buzz around this being LiLo's comeback film should be the main attraction, but we're mostly curious because this whole thing is shaping up to be one giant ball of WTF.
