Johnny Depp Still Considering Whoring Out On 'Pirates 5' For Disney

In this week's massive 2011 preview in Entertainment Weekly, there's the thinly-veiled suggestion that Johnny Depp, at one point, considered departing the fourth film in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. Apparently a herky-jerky shoot encumbered by bad weather colored his perceptions on being a complete and total whore for Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer. However, the actor-turned-corporate logo claims that the fifth film is still a possibility, even though it appears a lifetime contract signed with Disney was inked in blood. “As long as we can put all the puzzle pieces together, I would most definitely consider it,” said the former respectable thesp, making it seem like he actually wasn't a dancing monkey.

We kid about Depp's clear affection for the character of Captain Jack Sparrow, but his dedication to this colorful knave has pried him farther away from real acting and into the realm of walking cartoon character. Appearing in schools unannounced as Sparrow is one thing, but it's an entirely different, more deranged matter if he's showing up as the pirate backstage at a Justin Bieber concert specifically for the young singer's amusement, which was reported a month ago.

All commercialism aside, five tentpole releases playing the same character has to wear on people, and we're really not sure what Depp's gameplan is here. "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" opens May 20th.

"all the pieces" being a HUGE paycheck, ha ha. It's all good, Depp can do whatever he wants.

Johnny Depp didn't show up at the Bieber concert in Miami as Capt. Jack Sparrow. He showed up as himself, with his son and daughter in tow, and took them to the concert and backstage to meet Bieber. His son is 8 and his daughter is 11 - exactly the ages of Bieber fans.

Would that be the massive 2011 preview, maybe? I think a preview for 2001 would be fairly puny. ;>)
