10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesDwight is one of the favorite characters from Miller’s books and the 2005 film. In SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to “The Big Fat Kill” (featured in the film FRANK MILLER’S SIN CITY) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face.
"Dwight is a constant character throughout the Sin City world and "A Dame To Kill For" is a defining episode in his life. We're looking forward to Josh's take on Dwight," said Rodriguez and Miller.
The star-studded ensemble of "Sin City 2" includes Mickey Rourke as “Marv,” Jessica Alba as “Nancy,” Rosario Dawson as “Gail” and Jaime King as “Goldie/Wendy” with new cast members Joseph Gordon-Levitt as “Johnny,” Dennis Haysbert as “Manute” and Jamie Chung as “Miho.” "Law & Order: SVU" actor Chris Meloni also joined the cast today. Production already began before the Christmas break at Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas.
"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" is due in theaters October 4, 2013

I was really hoping Owen would come back for this, or I did about 7 years ago when I was looking forward to a Sin City sequel. Brolin is a great actor, but Owen is very much at the heart of the first movie. I hoped he'd come back under some makeup - the character is supposed to have the same eyes and voice. Not to mention, Dwight should bear Owen's likeness towards the end of the movie, so hopefully Owen's participation hasn't been ruled out.

Well I've read the books so I know there's a reason why Dwight is supposed to look different in it. But I was really hoping that they would get Clive back and use some makeup. Oh well, I'm not holding out much hope for this sequel anyway. I hope I'm proved wrong but honestly they used the best stories from the series in the first movie. As for this one, half of them are going to be originals written by Frank Miller. Ouch, the man has lost his touch and hasn't written a really good story in a while. But once again I don't want to be negative about a franchise I love so I really hope I'm wrong.
