It's good to see that Will Smith can still smile considering "Men In Black 3" has gone through a troubled production period that has seen a rotating number of writers trying to get the script up to par, not to mention a budget that is now soaring north of $200 million. But that's not what we're here to talk about.
The Daily Mail has grabbed some snaps of Josh Brolin on set in New York City playing the younger version of the Tommy Lee Jones' character, Agent K, in the time-traveling sequel and he looks eerily like him. It kind of fucking creeps us out, so good job on the casting there Sony (we're not being snarky, he really does look like a younger Jones). So hey, a little glimmer of good news for the film that could really use some.
Smith and Brolin are joined by Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger and Rip Torn in the sequel, that by hook or by crook, will be finished by director Barry Sonnenfeld for a May 25, 2012 release. Check out a few more pics below.

How did this one note joke get to become a trilogy? The first film works in fits & starts (mostly the first 40 minutes) but I wouldn't call it a good movie. The second one was just TUR-RIBLE!

I think when all is said on done, the age difference of Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee Jones will the least of the film's concerns.

My favorite thing about the Internet: people losing suspension of disbelief and sticking obdurately hard and fast to age. Get over it.

I'm sure that age factoid has been addressed in one of the dozens of script rewrites.

Tommy Lee Jones is 64 and even though Josh Brolin is 43, he is playing Agent K when he is supposed to be over 40 years younger. They should have cast one of the below rising young actors (and appropriate in terms of age) to play the younger Agent K: Shia LaBeouf, Zac Efron, Anton Yelchin, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Emile Hirsch

I wish that Will Smith would do more movies. When Men in Black III comes out in 2012, it will be his first major starring role in four years even though he has many projects in various stages of development: Untitled Lana and Andy Wachowski Project Wheeler Dealers Independence Day 3 Uptown Saturday Night Joe Greenbacks It Takes a Thief Welcome to the Sticks Extra Protection Monster Hunter The Karate Kid 2 One Thousand A.E. Time Share Harold and the Purple Crayon Untitled I Am Legend Prequel Untitled Dr. S. Allen Counter Project Angelology The Last Pharaoh Independence Day 2 The Legend of Cain Flowers for Algernon Hancock 2 Annie Monster Witness Relocation Program What Would Kenny Do? Brushback The Billionaire’s Vinegar Newton’s Law I, Robot 2 Sisters of Mercy Amulet The City That Sailed Bad Boys 3 Cooked Overboard My Wife Hates Your Wife The Long Run The American Can Paper Wings

I hope the Men in Black briefly travel to Pandora in this film and visit the Na’vi.
